These extraordinary shawls are handwoven by the artisan collective of Magdalena de la Paz, an Autonomous Municipality known for their exquisite weaving. Each one is created on the traditional Mayan backstrap loom. Available 60″ to 74″ long plus 4″ to 6″ tassels on each end. A unique Mayan design is woven into each end of the shawl. This is a large weaving! While this is a stunning piece to wear as a shawl, it would also make a gorgeous wall hanging or table runner.
