“The Ship of Resistance.” These tiny boats are inspired by the first delegation of the 2021 Zapatista Journey for Life, Squadron 421. Crafted and painted by the woodworking collective in the besieged communtiy of Nuevo San Gregorio, these precious sculptures embody the creative whimsy and the extraordinary courage of the Zapatista bases of support.
