Pouch / Bolsa – Diamonds Design from Magdalena

This zippered pouch is handwoven on a back-strap-loom by the artisan women of the Magdalena community in the highlands of Chiapas. The pouch is 6 1/2″ by 6 1/2″ with a zipper closure. The braid shoulder strap is 25″ long so you can safely sling is diagonally over your chest to rest in easy reach on your hip. The front is gaily woven in traditional Maya patterns, and the back is a solid handwoven cotton. Available in a variety of multicolor designs.
