These colorful cotton pouches are brocaded in the traditional Mayan way on the back strap-loom by the artisan women of the Magdalena community in the highlands of Chiapas. The diamond pattern is a Mayan cosmic design featured with prayers to the universe for peace. The pouches are lined with handwoven cotton and have a multi-color braided strap. All come in unique multicolored variations.
