REPORT OF THE NATIONAL INDIGENOUS CONGRESS AND THE ZAPATISTA ARMY OF NATIONAL LIBERATION ON THE FUNDS RAISED FOR THE COMMUNITIES OF THE NORTHERN SIERRA OF VERACRUZ AFFECTED BY THE INTENSE RAINS OF RECENT DAYS

To our sisters and brothers among the indigenous peoples of the Northern Sierra of Veracruz.
To the National Indigenous Congress of the Totonacapan Region.
To the peoples of Mexico and the world,
To the organizations and collectives defending human rights,
To the Networks of Resistance and Rebellion,
To the National and International Sixth,
To the signatories of A Declaration for Life on the five continents,
To Dignified, and Rebel Europe.
Following the call for solidarity we made four days ago due to the heavy rains that have affected various states in the country, particularly the northern part of the state of Veracruz, we have received as of this morning in the bank account we provided for this purpose the total amount of 212,899.02 pesos through bank deposits and transfers, of which 50,000.00 pesos were used for the direct purchase of diesel and gasoline, and 119,005.11 pesos were transferred to the account that our comrades at the CNI Totonacapan indicated to us, leaving a remainder of 43,893.91 pesos that will be immediately delivered to our comrades at the CNI Totonacapan in the manner they indicate. Likewise, as part of this campaign, a direct purchase of diesel worth 76,350.00 pesos was made, which, added to the previous figures, gives a total of 289,249.02 pesos raised.
All these donations were received not only from people in our country, but from various countries around the world, which speaks to the internationalist and national solidarity between those below and on the left. Different amounts, different individual and collective efforts, cannot be fully reflected in just the numbers and amounts received. But we know, sisters and brothers, that you reached out to us in these difficult times, there is no doubt about that.
