Schools for Chiapas, like many of you, has been involved with the autonomous Mayan communities’ on-going and creative resistance to genetically modified seeds for many years through Mother Seeds in Resistance. It’s the birthday of the Mexican revolutionary hero Emiliano Zapata and anniversary of the founding of the Zapatista civilian Good Government Boards.
