We as Good Government Councils of Caracol 10 denounce the following:
We denounce the invaders Nicolás Pérez Pérez of the ejido San Gregorio las Casas: Pedro Hernández Gómez of the ejido San Gregorio las Casas, Javier Gómez Pérez of RancherÃa Duraznal — members of the group “Los 40” who continue to invade our territories and continue their work with the objective of dispossessing from their lands our compañeros and compañeras in struggle.
We denounce the events that took place on November 29th of this year, at 8:00 am: 22 invaders commanded by the aforementioned invaders came onto our lands with hoes and picks to take the communal pasture of our Zapatista community Nuevo San Gregorio, these invaders began to create a 50 meter long trench for the water well source of support and sustenance of the collective livestock of our Zapatista compañeros and compañeras with the aim of making the watering place for their animals dry up; the primary objective of these invaders is to make way for a tractor to continue invading more rebel territory and to cause the 22 animals that continue resisting these aggressions to collapse.
These invaders continue to advance their aggressions in our territories, reaching the communal pasture of 9 hectares, which is located 50 meters from the center of the community, now threatening the lives of the animals that have been the sustenance in the struggle of our compañeros and compañeras for years in resistance and rebellion. The water well also feeds the collective fish project, a pond of 2×3 meters, the two collectives are now at great risk of collapse. It is worth mentioning that the collectives are great sources of support and sustenance in our struggle for life not to do any harm, but these invaders continue to harass us and invade our territories.
We hold the Municipal, State and National governments responsible for what is going to happen to our collectives, because as so-called authorities, they do not lift a finger against these attacks that our compañeras and compañeros Zapatista bases are experiencing, they cover up the acts committed by this group of people who do nothing more than attack our compañeras and compañeros who are struggling, taking care of our mother earth, and the Mexican government does nothing to stop the invasions and aggressions that are increasingly widespread.
The government does nothing but to strengthen the invasion and aggression by remaining silent in the face of these acts of dispossession, actions of destruction that threaten the integrity and life of the people who resist and fight for life.
We continue to stand up for the struggle, we will not give up.
