In the highlands hamlet of Magdalena de la Paz, traditional weaving on a backstrap loom is no less than an artform. Women labor weeks in the creation of a blouse, carefully creating the patterns, some traditional and some new. From bookmarks, to blouses, to coasters to pouches --many gorgeous woven items can be found in our solidarity store.
