We embrace you from afar in your diverse geographies, knowing the worry we share, in the tempest that we currently face. Needless to say, the organized communities of Chiapas are no stranger to this storm.

Taking inspiration from the unfaltering commitment of these communities in resistance, Schools for Chiapas continues to work alongside them in their construction of autonomy and defense of territory. Hosting workshops in health and education promotion, supporting the building of schools, collaborating in the defense of human rights, raising funds and raising awareness, the long trajectory of solidarity and accompaniment is an ever-evolving labor of love and and ongoing apprenticeship. In a context where the politics from above continue to bring nothing but chaos and destruction, our determination to work from below and to the left continues --building strength and sharing knowledge.
