After 3 years of ceaseless work by their families and organizational allies like Frayba, European and Mexican delegations to prove their innocence, international campaigns of solidarity, and a judgement by the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, the five prisoners from San Juan Cancuc have finally been freed with a ruling that rights violations of the defenders were "well-founded."
