The National Institute of Migration (INM) reports that, from January 1st to April 18th, 2023, it has provided 108,025 services to migrants of different nationalities through its Representative Office in the state of Chiapas.
Of this figure, 59,687 correspond to procedures of foreigners in the area of regulation.
Another 48,338 correspond to Multiple Migratory Forms (FMM) for Humanitarian Reasons given to migrants in the Provisional Attention Center (CAP) authorized by the INM, currently located in the Ecological Park of the city of Tapachula, Chiapas.
This immigration authority invites foreign migrants to go to the INM Regulation Offices and the Provisional Attention Center (CAP) to start or continue with the process of regularizing their stay in the country.
The National Institute of Migration reiterates its willingness to continue providing care and service to people in a context of mobility, with special attention to those who come vulnerable groups such as girls, boys, adolescents, women, the elderly and the disabled.
